About the Oil: This is the finest ylang-ylang we've ever come across, with a very complex, well-rounded, and complete aroma. Ylang-ylang extra is from the first distillation. Ylang-ylang flowers are usually distilled several times, with the earlier distillations typically giving the nicer aromatics. Ylang ylang has long been considered an aphrodisiac and a 'hypnotic' for its relaxing qualities. Often included in fine perfume blends, this oil is wonderful unto itself. Highly recommended.
